NEWS: Wild Card CRAASH Programme to challenge finalists over the coming weeks
Wild Card: 12 candidates begin the final step towards making their healthcare ideas a reality
Following on from the Wild Card: AT THE EDGE tournament last month, our 12 remaining candidates will undertake several weeks of intensive training before entering a final pitch contest.
Starting today, 14 May in Munich, our Wild Cards will get the chance to meet and work with renowned healthcare innovation experts from CIMIT Boston and EIT Health partners from across the partnership.
Through a dedicated business model validation process, Wild Card CRAASH, CIMIT will be mentoring our finalists through the next stage of their ideas, working towards the final pitch in July. The programme will test their hypotheses, validate and develop value propositions and identify appropriate business models, as well as challenge the teams to better understand their stakeholders’ needs, the problems to be solved, and buying dynamics.
Kicking off Wild Card CRAASH, EIT Health Director of Innovation Jorge Fernandez Garcia said: “We’re honoured to welcome CIMIT and our partners to Munich, and to have them on board for this first year of Wild Card. We look forward to seeing how their expertise and coaching will help our finalists bring their healthcare ideas to life.”
COO of CIMIT John Collins said: “CIMIT is delighted to take part in Wild Card. With more than 20 years of international experience in stimulating and supporting teams with innovative healthcare solutions, we’re bringing this experience now to the Wild Card finalists’ projects. We are eager to help the teams to create the best final pitches”.
